Who's a Fat Bastard - Bent like a chicken leg

August 17, 2014

I was barely mobile by 11 am. I went to bed at 5 am with a nice Mexican lady in our spare room. She's gone by the time I get up. Christian came in from camping and dragged her off to the woods at 8 am. That worked out well. I was going to take the day off. Sit around and watch golf and the Lions game at 4. Instead, overcome with guilt, and knowing it was weigh day. I had a cup of coffee and got dressed for my workout.
I don't know if I need to show pictures of me doing my workout every day. But it takes up space and inspires me to change my clothes more often. I also shower a lot more. I'm sure that makes Lisa happy. Mostly though it's to reafirm my commitment to the leopard skin thong. Well, at least what it represents. Every day when I write about my workout and see the pictures, it reminds me that I have to keep working at it every day, but also it reminds me of how far I've come.
600 Four Stair Stretches. It takes about four sets before I can almost get my leg straight. Hey, when I started it was bent like a chicken leg. Same color too!
200 One Stair Steps. These are hard to do. half way through, I wish I had stayed at 100. If you think about it I am lifting almost 250 lbs every step up. I took off 50 lbs for the chicken leg lifting the rest of my Fat Bastard carcass off the ground.
I did 144 Belly crunches and after the One Stair Steps its even harder. I have music down in the green room now so of course I was listening to the Moj on 1040. Lions pregame was already on. After the stairs I got a little sloppy with the camera work.
I had a little time so I sized up the Iron Maiden. Stuck off in the corner, waiting for my return.

I did thirty minutes on the Maiden and headed for the shower. I also cut most of my head off in the picture.
I was in a rush now because it was after 12 and Momma Lee had just called to remind me that I had said I would come and play guitar at the home.

They were a good crowd today. Its right after lunch and they are all running on a sugar buzz from the pudding. They clap and tap but not necessarily in time to the music. As the pudding wore off many of them were nodding to sleep to the rhythm of the music. I played for a little more than an hour then cleared out when it was time for bingo. Actually, Momma Lee threw me out!
I did a quick shop at No Frills. A couple of nice strip loins on the BBQ for dinner.
Steak dinner
Zucchini on the grill and Squatch salad. Lisa was in bed by 7 for her 3 am call time. I did nothing. Watch a little TV and write.

That's all I got.
Till next time.
Peace Out Y'all
