Who's a Fat Bastard - Isabella's Birthday

August 21, 2014

Happy Birthday Tooooo Yoooo. My Granddaughter Isabella turned 6 today. It seems like only yesterday I was holding her in my arms. So small and perfect.
Now she's six and the Perfect little Princess.

But enough about Bella. I was up at 8 with the alarm. I cup of coffee and doing my workout.
I started my work out at 9:09 am with 600 Four Stair Stretches. They hurt my shoulder but a little less every day.

200 One Stair Steps. My legs are burning and I'm soaked by the time I'm done these.

Yessss Squatchy, make love to the camera!

I was picking up my Granddaughter Clarissa at 11 am to go to Horseshoe Bay to pick up Ami.
Clarissa , a selfie made Princess
Ami lived in our suite with her Mom Theresa for 7 years. When Clarissa was a toddler she followed Ami around like a puppy. Now Ami is fifteen and Clarissa 9, that's a big difference. but Ami is a very  caring and patient person.

I had time to make some breakfast before I hit the showers. I'll eat anything with a face!
Huevos Con Face
I picked Clarissa up at 11:20 and we headed for Horseshoe Bay and the ferry terminal. Ami was on the 10:30. It got in at 12:30. We got to Horseshoe Bay forty minutes early. Clarissa had never been there and it's a neat little town, so we became tourists. Camera in hand, and even though there was a chilly breeze blowing in off the water, Clarissa wanted ice cream.
Made in the shade
I got an Iced Americano and we walked along the foreshore in the sunshine. Where it was warm. Taking pictures and talking.

After she finished her icecream I gave Clarissa the camera. She
has a pretty good eye.

When the ferry came in we were waiting for Ami. They were both at Squatchapalooza so they were looking forward to this weekend for quite a while.
Friends
We took the long way home. Through Stanley Park and along Commercial Drive. I thought they liked it, turns out it was just me. I made a beeline for home and the Red Star Restaraunt. ( formerly the Austin Diner) Ami and her Mom used to eat there when she lived here. Good chinese/western style chinese food.
I had Combo B
I have to move this along I've been writing for an hour and it's only 2:30 in the afternoon. Here's the Readers Digest version.
They trampolined

They frolicked in the pool.

That's when Bella  and Christo arrived with Christian and his Mom, Marina.

And then their Grammy Sharon showed up with the cake that she baked. I heard it was very good.
Ami, Abolita, Bella and Grammy
They had cake and icecream. I had my homemade apple sauce and a little bit of icecream.
Hey, I didn't have cake!
Bella's party is on Saturday but she still had a couple of gifts to open.
Oh good, more stuff
I was at this point watching the football game. Philly beating up the Steelers. They were back on the trampoline.
Trampoweenies
Ami and Clarissa are staying at our house for the next couple of days and the Devlins are on their way from Campbell River. Between the Green Room and Willy's two room tent we're practically a hotel!
They played some Wii.
Vidiots
We all did our Wii fitness and then played bowling. Lisa won...drats.
The kids were in bed by 9:30 and I could finally relax, except for the part were I had to water the gardens, treat the pool and spray two Carpenter Bee nests in the dark. Very relaxing. It was a wonderful day spent with people I love. Does it get any better.

That's all I got.
Till next time.
Peace Out Y'all
