Who's a Fat Bastard - Her timing was great

December 2, 2014

Zombie Mums still going
They're on the move. Hopefully they're on their way out.   I don't remember anything hurting as much as this has hurt today. That's all I'm going to say about these damn kidney stones until I pass them.  Or I reach another plateau of pain.
Or I die! There is also nothing else I can do. I've been drinking everything from beer to apple cider vinegar trying to move this puppy along. Nobody wants to read about somebody complaining
about their health so I'm going to stop now.
I think the worst part about it is, I'm not moving. Christian and Christo showed up at the house and stayed for about an hour. Christian hasn't been able to work because of the cold. You can't lay stone with frozen cement. He's a big sports fan so we always have stuff to talk about. After the way the Canucks played in Detroit, Christian was concerned about our ability to compete.
Though it is hard to take him seriously when he talks about hockey sounding like Ricky Ricardo. "You got some splainin to do"
When Christian left to take Christopher home for lunch I turned last night Squatch salad into today's Squatch chef's salad.

After lunch I worked on my video Christmas card. I was trying to record a vocal track and was having a hard time projecting my voice. When I listened to the playback it sounded dull and lifeless.
After 2 hours I gave up and had a nap.
When I got up from my nap I went out and strung another set of lights out front.

Then I went up to cheap thrills to get something for dinner. I was home in time for the Canucks game against the Washington Capitals at 4:00. After the second period, not having heard from the lovely Lisa, I made myself smokie dog lettuce wraps for dinner.
The Canucks game was over and I was waiting for the Raptors game to come on when I finally heard from the lovely Lisa. It was almost 7:00 and they were just getting ready to leave Steveston.
It was after 8:00 when she finally made her way through the door,
more than twenty hours after she left the house this morning. A kiss hello, a quick shower and she was in bed. Her wake up call this morning would be 1:30 a.m. Only one more day and she starts her weekend.
Not to be self-serving but her timing was great. She showed up at halftime of the Raptors game. I never missed a shot. After the game I fell asleep in my chair.
I woke up at midnight with Nutmeg pawing at me to go out.
Still half asleep I open the back door and Elvis went ballistic! There were two raccoons making their way across the backyard.
I don't know why they run away from Elvis? They're like five times his size. They scamper over the fence and into next door Gord's while Elvis Barks his freaking head off. I can't believe the lovely Lisa didn't wake up!
And that was it for me. With the sports highlights on in the background I nodded in and out until the lovely Lisa got out of bed at 1:30 to go to work. The lovely Lisa its not really into socializing when she has to get up to go to work at that time. I gave her a quick kiss, told her to drive safe and I was asleep before I heard the front door close.

That's all I've got
Till next time
Peace out y'all
