I am all out of whack! We are trying to fill every minute of every day left of summer with summery things. Today was Buntzen Lake. It's actually Saturday morning because I was too tired to write last night. Today, I need to do another summer thing, lie in my hammock with a glass of suntea. But first, in spite of brother Steve's advice, that people are tired of seeing me doing my exercise on the stairs. I say to him "Too Bad!" 1000 Four Stair Stretches.
It was creepy today. I couldn't shake the feeling someone was watching me!
200 One Stair Steps and 180 Belly Crunches.
It's been a few days since I rode the Iron Maiden. I teed up an episode of Suits and pedalled my way to nowhere for an hour.
When I got upstairs with the laundry, I was multi-tasking, I was informed that Steve was on his way and we were going to the lake. I didn't even shower! I was going swimming at the lake. I made a tuna salad and Steve brought a most excellent mango/avocado salad/salsa thingy. Monstrous Okanagan peaches, along with plums and apples from our trees.
I have to say the water is getting colder but still not bad.

The guitar covers my gut quite nicely. |
We hung out at the lake until 5:30 then rushed home to get ready for a friends 50th birthday party at a pub in Surrey. I hardly know these people. Lisa has known Greg since they were twelve years old and, they were at our wedding.

Nice people. The pub was busy and the food looked good, but after two hours and no service we left.
It was now pushing 10 and we hadn't eaten. I had some nice pork that I was going to schnitzelize. In stead, I just seasoned and grilled it. Made some perogies and broccoli and we dined by the light of Seinfeld reruns.
Late night dinner |
I was in bed before midnight and have now spent most of Saturday morning writing, I'm off to do my workout now...with pictures...Steve!
That's all I got.
Till next time.
Peace Out Y'all
