Who's a Fat Bastard - It's not just because Lisa beat me!

September 14, 2014
10th hole
My plan today was to sit in front of the TV and watch football. You know what they say about the best laid plans! After making coffee and eggs I settled in to watch the pregame show on three different channels. And women think their the only ones who can multi-task! The first game was just starting when Lisa got out of bed and I was banished to tiny TV town.
Just before half time Lisa said "We should go play golf." it didn't seem like a request. Lisa doesn't like football.
One Halloween, I convinced her to come to a BC Lions game in costume. She fell asleep in the third quarter!
Goodbye New England, goodbye Carolina, hello pitch 'n putt. In the parking lot at Rupert Park, we were transported back to the 70's. Both Lisa and I had left our cell phones at home. It was strangely liberating. I did check my phone pocket about a thousand times. I brought spare batteries for the camera which is sitting on the counter in the kitchen. I could lick them to put a little juice in my game I guess. So there are no pictures today. It's not just because Lisa beat me either! 13 - 12. She collected her victory kiss and we headed out to Woody's for lunch and the Seahawks game.
Still without picture taking ability and enjoying the lack of cell phone, we ordered Calamari and Chicken wings. We headed home at half time, Lisa has a 3 am call time. I watched the Seahawks look very ordinary and lose. I had a nap, fading in and out until Lisa woke me up when it was time for her to go to bed. I watched the end of the Sunday night game with dinner. Sausage, salad and Avocado. When Lisa has to get up at 2 am, I stay up. More now because we have Mac the puppy staying with us. It's a big bed, but not that big. For three little dogs they take up a lot of room!
The three Dogmigos
It was weigh day and I'm still stuck.

I feel great and my energy level has been good. My shoulder is improving slowly and my toe has healed. If I keep doing what I'm doing I will one day be thong worthy.

That's all I got.
Till next time.
Peace Out Y'all
