Return of the Fat Bastard - Wardrobe isn't here yet so go have breakfast.

August 17th and 18th 2016

Howdy Pardner from Cloverdale
I was up at 6:30 am but not to go to work. That's because all I got from the people I was working for was a text saying my call time was 8:30 and the promise that a call sheet was on it's way. I was up to put out the garbage. Ever since I got caught red handed I get up early on Wednesday mornings and put out the garbage, compost and recycling. At 7:00 I texted the second AD.  He got right back to me I was not the only one who didn't get the call sheet. It was just over the Port Mann Bridge at the Cloverdale Fair Grounds. Twenty minutes and a $3 toll from my house.
I was shuttled from the parking to the circus were I was led to my assigned room.

luxury accommodation for my Character
Both the air conditioning and the radio were on when I made myself comfortable. Wardrobe isn't here yet so go have breakfast.
Lots of mirrors so you don't feel like your in a box.
I was accosted by Sarah an old friend who doesn't know how to read a calendar! Her and her man Roger missed our party. I had four kinds of meat and coffee for breakfast. I can feel those new arteries bunging up just thinking about it!
I went through hair/makeup, just a little moisturiser and a little Brylcream to keep my curls in place. At 10:00 the AD walked me over towards the set where she parked me in a coffee shop right across the street from the set. "Have whatever you want" she said to me. I just had a regular coffee. I've never been into the fancy coffees , maybe an Iced Latte if some one else is buying but usually I just have coffee.
Shortly before 10:30 I was Taken 2 set. My stand-in had sat through the lighting process so I was under the lights for only a few moments for the  final tweaking. The director is also one of the lead actors and it was him that I was doing my scene with. We ran the scene three times to get the camera moves down properly. Then we filmed 5 takes. That's all I can really say about it the film is called Why we're killing Gunther.
I was home before 2 in the afternoon and my beard was trimmed down to a reasonable length by 2:15.

I could have knit a hamster!
I spent the rest of the day puttering around. Well, I puttered in between jumps in the pool and lay downs in the hammock

The pool I overfilled but it was refreshing!
I'm writing this from my doctor's office. I cut the back of my leg a few days ago when I was moving the benches and tables back onto the deck. Polysporin wasn't enough. Now it's hot and red and I have a long history of not dealing well with infections. And on the eve of our grand Adventure!
So now I am on antibiotics both oral and cream. It hurts a little bit. I'll put on my big boy pants and tough it out.
I lied! It hurts like Hell. Thank God I'm well organized for our Whistler Rafting Adventure tomorrow. We're hoping to get in a couple of runs. Hope I feel better by tomorrow. I'm going to go and have a nap before dinner then a quiet night at home with the Olympics and an early start tomorrow.
New, Improved and not so Santa!

That's all I've got
Till next time
Peace out y'all
