Return of the Fat Bastard - The spit and pit for the turning of the beasts.

August 12th 2016

Pirates like flowers too.
Everything is well under control. The lovely Lisa is still shopping for stuff. I don't know what else we could possibly need, but those kind of decisions are way above my pay grade. I picked up the spit and the charcoal put together the Band Stand  and positioned the tables for maximum comfort. The Bar is ready for Willie's Publican touch.
Protection for the musicians
I drove over to Port Coquitlam to pick up the spit and pit for the turning of the beasts. We've rented it every year for years now from 1 Stop Party Rentals. On the way home I swung by Canadian Tire and picked up 75 lbs of charcoal briquettes.
The bar and the Jolly Roger
Lea stopped by the house after doing Mama Lee's hair. Hair Anywhere. That's her company. Her and Mark have put together a Treasure Hunt for the kids. With maps and clues and everything! The PA I had lined up was sold so I was in a bit of a bind. Bill Taylor to the rescue. He has a nice PA and a great attitude and most importantly is a really good guitar player and he lets me play with him. He's coming by at 2 for set up. Yay.
Peace on the BandStand

The meat looks great and by the time Chef Boy R Lisa gets done with it they will taste even better than they look. I've been going all day and it's coming into shape pretty good. The lovely Lisa and Michelle with one L have handled most of the decorating. Now Dr Dan and Julia are spending the night with us on their way to a party on the Island that he had planned a few months ago. Bet there won't be any Pirates!
Pirates for Peace on the Bandstand
Short one today. I'm tired and I'm going to bed. There's some pics from the day.

That's all I've got
Till next time
Peace out Y'all
