At the Bellingham Airport

Sitting in Scotty Browns Social House at the Bellingham Airport awaiting our flight to Fabulous Lost Wages! I just had a large and ra

ther tasty though overpriced hamburger.

$18 burger! Bastards!

At least it was made fresh. The lovely Lisa had a giant breakfast burrito. A word of advice, don't go to the airport hungry! We stopped at the bank and were on the road before 10. We had a pleasant drive down to Bellingham and arrived in plenty of time for our flight at 2:39. We crossed the border at Peace Arch in only a few minutes.

From there it was 20 minutes to a rest stop so we could get rid of the coffee we had smuggled into the country hidden in our bladders! We had the car parked at Easy Park, $6 a day and a shuttle to and from the airport. We were checked in and through security by 12:15. Plenty of time to kill. We get into Lost Wages at 5:00. Check in and find a poker tourney for tonight.
Once we were checked in we went to the Golden Gate for a bite to eat. Lisa won $30 on a slot on our way into the dining room. The plates of food are huge. I ate most of my Rueben Sandwich that had abuot half a pound of corned beef and sauerkraut on it.

We had planned on playing a tournament at 10 pm but I was falling asleep at the wheel. I watched the lovely Lisa play the slots for a while. She was up a few bucks when I had enough we were in bed before 11:00. I was so excited about going to Vegas I was awake until 4:00 am Sunday night. Going to play a poker tourney in the morning at 11am. The wifi is down at the Golden Nugget so I don't know when this will post.
