This one is going to be short and sweet. We're going to Vegas Baby! We try to go once a year and we booked this two months ago when Chef Boy R Lisa found out that her show was dark for the whole week because of American Thanksgiving. Here's a fun fact about American Thanksgiving. Every year the President of the United States pardons a turkey. This year it's Hillary! Bada Bing! We're flying out of Bellingham 2:30 tomorrow afternoon. We're staying in our favorite downtown hotel, The Gold Nugget.

We have a car waiting at the airport and a trip out to Phoenix to see our friend Gerry Sax Potter and watch the Canucks play on Wednesday....for $19 with a hotdog! and free parking! I think I read that but there's a chance I just made it up. When we go down to see the Jays play the Mariners we buy the 4 tickets, 4 hotdogs and 4 Sodas for less than $20 per head deal. Always have a good time. But I digress. We get into Vegas at 5:00. In time for the lovely Lisa to find a Poker Tournament. She cashed in a tournament at the Venetian last time we were there. On my 50th birthday I won a tournament at Binions. $600. That was almost ten years ago. The Lucky Lisa Queeen of Hearts is much more into it than I am.

Last time while she was playing I went to the sports book and watched sports and read my book. They even bring you free beer. I made a $5 bet on a triacta of baseball games and tipped the waitress a buck so she would keep coming back. " Every 15 minutes Honey" I said as I slipped a single into her ample bosom. ......Okay, I made that part up.

Since I'm here I may as well tell you about my day. Today was another day of spectacular under achievement. With the weekend almost over and football on all day. I was still in my pajamas when Bro Steve, GMcT and Sherrie showed up about 12:30 to watch the BC Lions game. It was over before the first quarter was. We were not just Stampeded, we were Hog Tied and branded with a big L! And that doesn't stand for Lions! We were beaten in every aspect of the game. On the up side The Seahawks are looking like the Seahawks again. Beating the Eagles to go up three games in the NFC West.

That's it. I packed my knapsack. Socks, underwear, bathing suit, a pair of shorts and a shirt with a collar. I'll wear a tshirt, a shirt and my jeans on the plane. My Canucks jersey is in the lovely Lisa's carry on. We will be up early for the ride down to Bellingham. We want to go to Trader Joes before we park the car. Then, Viva Las Vegas!!
I'm not taking my laptop so I will be writing on my phone. It's so small and my sausage fingers are so big! I'll do the best I can!
